How the Device Works
W250 Stimulation Cycle
3 STAGE CYCLE
The main factors stopping chronic and non healing wounds from closing are well known, but often lack direct solutions in standard wound care.
The W250 device deals with these underlying factors via a self-adaptive, 3 stage stimulation cycle. The W250 constantly monitors the key bioelectric controller of the individual wound or ulcer, and intelligently modifies it’s output to always give optimum electrical stimulation.
STAGE 1
Infection Treatment
Treatment and prevention of infection. Broad spectrum antimicrobial action from continuous, ultra precise microorganism-type-specific low intensity direct current. Effective for whole classes of microorganisms, and for antibiotic resistant bacteria superbugs.
STAGE 2
Wound Closure
Continuous ‘smart’ self-adaptive supplementation or replacement of the wound-generated electric field that controls wound healing. Stimulation is individualized and wound-specific for initiating and accelerating wound closure.
STAGE 3
Tissue Regeneration
Enhanced tissue healing and regeneration. Stimulation of some cell types in the wound to self-modify to have tissue regeneration abilities resembling stem cell potentials. These newly modified cells can remodel and form new tissues to an extent not normally possible.
